About us

Shri Govansh Raksha Samiti, Malegaon is a charity organisation dedicated to cow and cattle protection - supporting nearly 1,000 heads of cattle now - in Malegaon and surrounding areas. Malegaon is a town in the West Indian state of Maharashtra.

Shri Govansh Raksha Samiti is run by a group of volunteers,who rescues the animals meant for illegal and merciless slaughtering.

It was formed jan 26 2002,and was formerly known as Govansh Raksha Maha Sangh,Then in 2006 the Govansh Raksha Maha Sangh got registered as Shri Govansh Raksha Samiti

Under the guidance of Subash P Malu and with the help of hundreds of volunteers, Shri Govansh Raksha Samiti every year rescues over 1000* animals.

 

Our Activites

  • 2002 - 2004 March 563 cows were saved
  • 2004 - 2005 March 495 cows were saved
  • 2005 - 2006 March 721 cows were saved
  • 2006 Decmber 771 cows and its progeny were saved.
  • 2007 Decmber 868 cows and its progeny were saved.
  • 2008 Decmber 910 cows and its progeny were saved.
  • From 01-01-2009 to 28-11-2009 643 cows and its progeny were saved.
  • From 28-11-2009 to 06-11-2011 till Bakri Eid 882 cows and its progeny were saved.

Our Objective

  • To propagate and promote love for the cow and its virtues.
  • To make cow-protection a people's movement.
  • To work for the protection and conservation of cow.
